FERRO STOP Ion Exchange Resin Cleaner
- Restores the performance of cation and anion exchange resins.
- Cleans control valve passages, injectors, and screens.
- Dissolves iron rust and manganese deposits.
- Safe for metal components and cleans the brine tank.
Directions for use:
Routine maintenance:
Using a dosing dispenser, add approximately 5–10 ml of undiluted FERRO STOP to the brine tank during each regeneration cycle.
For heavily fouled resins:
Pour 250–500 ml into the brine tank and start a manual regeneration. Once the softener has drawn all the solution from the brine tank, immediately close both inlet and outlet water valves and disconnect the power supply. Leave the resin to soak for 12 hours. Then reconnect the power, allow the regeneration cycle to complete, and immediately perform a second regeneration without adding FERRO STOP.
