This Privacy Policy explains how WATEX ESTONIA OÜ processes personal data on the website and online store www.veefiltrid.ee (the “online store”) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Products may be purchased under a distance contract either through a registered customer account or without creating an account.

1. Purposes and legal bases for processing

Creating an individual customer account and arranging delivery. We may process the email address and username on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Creating a business customer account and arranging delivery. We may process the contact person’s name, telephone number, address and username on the basis of WATEX’s legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Administering customer accounts. We process the email address to provide account access and password recovery on the basis of legitimate interests.
Processing and delivering orders. We process the customer’s name, email address, telephone number and delivery address to perform the contract and meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
Refunding returned goods. We may process the payer’s name, bank account, invoice details, amount and payment information on the basis of legitimate interests.
Handling customer claims and data-subject requests. We process the information required to meet legal obligations and protect legitimate interests.

2. Categories of recipients

WATEX protects personal data and does not provide unrestricted access to its databases. Personal data may be shared only when necessary with service providers such as hosting providers, couriers, payment processors, banks and authentication providers that apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
