Clack's Potassium Permanganate Feeder Assembly incorporates a non-pressurized storage tank and innovative grid design along with our dependable 464 float valve. The attractive 10"x16" tank is made of tough blow molded high density polyethylene, and contains an ultraviolet inhibitor (UVI) for increased resistance to sunlight.* It has a Potassium Permanganate capacity of 13 kg and a liquid capacity of 18 liters. Feeders are available in blue, almond, or black and can be ordered in two, four, or six ounce delivery capacities.
A recommended dose of 56 grams of Potassium Permanganate per liter of MTMR, Manganese Greensand or GreensandPlus™ is suggested for regeneration.
Correct water temperature is important to properly dissolve Potassium Permanganate. At 10°C - 113 grams of Potassium Permanganate can dissolve in 3.4 liters of water. At room temperatures, 22°C -226 grams will dissolve in 3.4 liters of water.
