CINTROPUR TRIO UV 2100 water treatment
CINTROPUR TRIO UV 2100 combines mechanical filtration, activated-carbon treatment and UV disinfection in one system. Connections are 3/4″ and 1″.
How it works
- Mechanical prefiltration: a 25 µm filter sleeve retains suspended particles. Centrifugal movement directs larger particles towards the bottom of the bowl.
- Activated-carbon treatment: helps reduce unwanted tastes and odours.
- UV disinfection: a 25 W lamp treats the water with UV-C radiation without adding a disinfectant chemical.
Operating conditions
The unit is intended for clear water with low suspended-solids content. Select the treatment system according to the feedwater quality and required flow. UV treatment does not remove dissolved chemical contaminants; the chemical quality of drinking water must also meet the applicable requirements.
The manufacturer specifies a flow rate of 2.0 m³/h at a UV dose of 25 mJ/cm².
Installation and maintenance
Install the UV unit at the end of the treatment system. Prefiltration helps prevent particles from shielding microorganisms from UV radiation. Replace the UV lamp annually and clean the quartz sleeve when necessary. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.
