HIDROTEK GAC-33 cartridge is a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter, designed to remove chlorine, unpleasant odors, tastes, and partly organic compounds from water.

Composition:

Filter housing: food-grade plastic
Filling: granular activated carbon made from coconut shells
Filter mesh/fiber to hold carbon granules and prevent them from entering the water flow

Working principle:

1. Water enters the cartridge and comes into contact with the granular activated carbon
2. Carbon works on the adsorption principle – it attracts and absorbs chlorine molecules, pesticides, organic substances, and other odor/taste-causing compounds
3. As a result, cleaner and better-tasting water flows out of the cartridge

Application:

Used in drinking water filtration systems (before or after reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, or as a separate stage)
Suitable for households, offices, or catering establishments

Specifications:

Filtration capacity: depends on water quality, usually 6–12 months of use
