WATEX M422 antiscalant for membrane protection
WATEX M422 is a scale-control reagent for water-treatment systems, including reverse osmosis. It helps limit deposits formed by dissolved minerals such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and barium sulfate on membranes and equipment.
Function and applications
Antiscalants interfere with mineral crystallisation, reducing the formation of solid deposits that can clog or damage equipment. Applications include reverse-osmosis and desalination systems, boilers, cooling towers and industrial water treatment.

- Reduce chemical-cleaning requirements and equipment downtime.
