For the efficient and long-term operation of boiler houses, it is necessary to supply water that meets all quality requirements for better boiler performance. Hard water, under the influence of high temperatures, creates deposits (scale) in heating networks. To prevent the formation of scale (calcium carbonate) in heating networks, the supplied water must be softened, deironed, low in salt content, and have a low oxygen concentration.
SIA WATEX has implemented several projects for the production of technological water for boiler houses:
Water treatment station at AS "Balticovo" new production facility boiler houses. The station capacity is Qmax = 6 m³/h. The project was completed in 2021.
Water treatment station at Gulbene central boiler house. The station capacity is Qmax = 5 m³/h. The project was completed in 2020.
Water treatment station at Kārsava central boiler house. The station capacity is Qmax = 5 m³/h. The project was completed in 2020.
Water treatment station at Cesvaine central boiler house. The station capacity is Qmax = 15 m³/h. The project was completed in 2020.
Four water treatment stations at SIA "Rēzeknes Siltumtīkls" boiler houses. The station capacities are Qmax = 30, 28, 25, 3.1 m³/h. The project was completed in 2016.
Reconstruction of the water treatment station at AS "Rīgas Siltums." The station capacity is Qmax = 70 m³/h. The project was completed in 2015.
