Borehole water treatment

The source of borehole water is artesian waters. Artesian waters, or pressurized waters, are located deeper below the earth's surface and are enclosed on both sides by water-impermeable layers, or trap layers. The regime of artesian water levels is determined by the geological section and the dynamic characteristics of underground waters.

They are not affected by ambient temperature fluctuations. Water sources are characterized by almost constant temperature fluctuations and small changes in water pressure, which depend on the nature of replenishment of the trap layer. The layers of barriers and the depth of artesian waters trap water pollutants, so they are cleaner and safer, but their availability is difficult and higher expenses are required.

Borehole water treatment system

Usually, artesian waters are characterized by elevated iron and manganese, as well as high hardness.  In the deeper underground water layers, the fresh water source is replaced by salt water, or mineral water. In the šwater sources, the salt content of the solutions is increased, which increases the total mineralization of the water, making the water salty.

When choosing the most suitable water purification system for your well water, we recommend that you perform water testing so that our specialists evaluates and provides the best solution for the purification of your drinking water.
