The ultrafiltration unit is designed for households to filter water down to a particle size of 0.01 microns. This means that the water is also purified from microbiological contaminants, such as viruses, bacteria, etc.
The ultrafiltration unit consists of a stainless steel AISI304 casing and PVDF ultrafiltration membrane tubes.
The membrane tubes of the unit are designed to be flushed manually, controlling the pressure drop.
The ultrafiltration system is also highly effective in removing fine sand, silicon oxide, aerolite deposits, fine clay, and turbidity.
While sand filters purify water to a particle size of 1 micron, the ultrafiltration system achieves even finer purification, down to 0.01 microns.
The membrane cassette is removable, cleanable, and replaceable.
